🔵The Divine Breath: Human Origin and Inner Potential

The Qur’an says:

“And I fashioned him and breathed into him of My روح (Spirit)…”

(15:29💥, 32:9)

This does not mean humans carry a part of God Himself, but rather:

A divinely granted روح (Rūḥ) — a higher consciousness, awareness, moral capacity.

A connection to divine attributes like knowledge, mercy, justice.

👉 So in Qur’anic terms, the human being is:

Made from earth (body) → low, material tendency

Given روح (spirit) → elevated, divine-guided tendency

This aligns with Rumi’s idea:

We are meant to express that higher روح in our lives.

১৫:২৯

فَإِذَا سَوَّيْتُهُ وَنَفَخْتُ فِيهِ مِنْ رُوحِي فَقَعُوا لَهُ سَاجِدِينَ

এতেকে যেতিয়া মই তাক সুঠাম কৰিম আৰু তাৰ মাজত মোৰ ফালৰ পৰা ৰূহ সঞ্চাৰ কৰিম তেতিয়া তোমালোকে তাৰ প্ৰতি ✔️ছাজদাৱনত হ’বা,

(✔️ছাজদাহ Prostration/fall down নহয়)

৩২:৯

ثُمَّ سَوَّاهُ وَنَفَخَ فِيهِ مِنْ رُوحِهِ ۖ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ السَّمْعَ وَالْأَبْصَارَ وَالْأَفْئِدَةَ ۚ قَلِيلًا مَا تَشْكُرُونَ

তাৰ পিছত তেৱেঁই তাক সুঠাম কৰিছে আৰু তাত তেওঁৰ ৰূহ ফুঁৱাই দিছে। তেৱেঁই তোমালোকৰ বাবে কাণ, চকু আৰু অন্তঃকৰণ সৃষ্টি কৰিছে। তোমালোকে খুবেই কম কৃতজ্ঞতা প্ৰকাশ কৰা।

🟢. Purpose of Life: Worship as Manifestation

The Qur’an clearly states:

“I did not create jinn and mankind except to worship (يعبدون) Me.”

(51:56)

But “worship” (‘ibadah) in the Qur’an is not just ritual. It means:

Living in alignment with divine guidance

Manifesting qualities like:

Truth (ḥaqq)

Justice (‘adl)

Compassion (raḥmah)

👉 So the purpose is not mere rituals, but: to reflect divine guidance in character and action

This directly echoes Rumi’s idea of manifesting the spirit.
